Teaching Artist resources in Alabama

Hello all - I'm new to Birmingham (sort of! I grew up here, but have been living in Chicago the last 15 years). I'm looking to connect with other teaching artists and wondering what pathways there are to get into schools here - is there an organization/s that I should connect with? Or is it an individual thing?
